The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation

Jaypee greens greater noida News:- The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has revealed, in response to an RTI query, that most of its Metro connectivity hubs in Noida are still at a planning stage, with approvals and fund allocation from the Centre still pending.
In other words, hopes of Noida residents and homebuyers that the city will soon have full Metro connectivity will not be fulfilled anytime soon.
In its reply to an RTI filed by Indrish Gupta, co-founder of Noida Extension Flat Owners Welfare Association, DMRC revealed that detailed project reports for its proposed Metro lines between Sector 32 and Sector 62, between Kalindi Kunj and Botanical Garden and between Sector 32 and Greater Noida have been approved by Noida Authority and the state government. The final approval from the Centre, however, is still pendingwithout which work cannot begin on the projects.

The detailed project report for the proposed stretch between Noida Sector 72 and Knowledge Park-V in Greater Noida is still being compiled. The same goes for the stretch between Noida Sector 94 and Noida Sector 143.
This, despite Metro connectivity to as far as Buraki in Greater Noida being advertised by many realtors as their USP.
The RTI response revealed there is no such project planned at all.
What is more, DMRC has not even been able to fix a tentative date of completion for all its cleared Noida projects. The RTI response suggests completion will depend on Central approval and fund availability.
"From a rough estimate of the speed at which metro projects are completed in cities across India, Noida's Metro could take anything between 7 and 10 years to be completed," Gupta said.
Anyone planning to invest in these parts of Noida, that are being sold by builders on the promise of imminent Metro connectivity, should be aware of these facts," he added. for more info about noida properties visit jaypee greens greater noida projects detail.
